Bespoke Workshops
Bring in AI trainingyour group will actually use.
A tailored run of multiple sessions that teach your people how AI works and how to use it on the work they actually do.
Most AI workshops are run by people who don’t build, or builders who can’t teach a room. I do both, and I still ship every day.
I shape the sessions with you around your group and your work, then can stay for a hands-on build day where the team ships something real.
Twenty minutes. No pitch. I’ll tell you in the first ten if a workshop isn’t the right fit.
A defined, self-contained engagement.
Who it’s for
Built for groups that want the real thing, fast
This is for an organization or a small group that wants current, hands-on AI teaching and training: a leadership group, a department, or a project team. You want teaching from someone who builds with these tools, tailored to your work, so your people leave able to use it.
What you get
Tailored sessions, with an optional build day
Before we start, I learn what your group does and which tools you use, then build the sessions on your real tasks. Tailored means the examples are yours.
01
Sessions tailored to your group
Multiple sessions shaped around where your people are and the work they do. I teach the tools, the habits, and the judgment, with real examples from your world.
02
From a presentation to a working session
These run from a straight presentation on what AI is and how your group can use it, with materials to take away, to hands-on sessions where people work on their own tasks.
03
An optional build day
When the group is ready, I can stay for a hackathon-style build session and help the team turn what they learned into something working.
Builder and coach
Current, because I’m still building
Most AI workshops are run by people who don’t build, or builders who can’t teach a room. I do both. I ship software with these tools every day, so the material is current, and I’m a trained coach, so it lands with a room instead of going over their heads.
What your group walks away with
Skills that stick
- People more confident using AI on their own work.
- Shared language and habits across the group.
- A short playbook the group keeps: the prompts, workflows, and habits we covered.
- With the optional build day, something working the team made together.
How it works
Simple to start
- A run of multiple sessions, usually about 60–90 minutes each.
- Spread over a few weeks, at a cadence that fits your calendar.
- For an individual or a small group; hands-on works best up to about a dozen people.
- An optional hackathon-style build day afterward.
- In person in Vancouver, or remote.
- We agree on scope and a single price on the fit call, with no surprises.
Why me
A builder who can teach, and a coach who can build
The person training & coaching you on AI should be a great coach regularly building with AI. Most AI training is run by people who don’t build, or builders who can’t teach. I do both, and I still ship every day.
I’ve spent 20+ years shipping software as an engineer, engineering manager, CTO, and technical founder, and I’ve completed the full Co-Active (opens in new tab) coach training. Learning AI is part craft and part new habits, and I can teach you both.
Let’s design sessions your people will use.
Book a 20-minute fit call, and we’ll sketch the sessions your people will actually use.
No pitch. If a workshop isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you on the call.
